A book of days

‘Riverwitch’ is a creative project centred around place and belonging which will begin in January 2014. It will start by chronicling a migration westwards, a displacement from the wild and rocky coast which, for the past four years, we have dug ourselves into on the far western shore of the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides. It will transform into reflections on the process of replacement, as we begin a new life in an old cottage by a waterfall in a small grove of trees on the Tullaghobegley River by Mount Errigal in County Donegal, Ireland: a kind of Book of Days, offering up fragments of life. ‘Riverwitch’ is a creative partnership between writers Sharon Blackie (http://reenchantingtheearth.com) and David Knowles (http://davidknowles.wordpress.com).
